Elite wolves all have a unique marking on their faces and each have a different power. They are bigger then normal wolves, stronger, faster but were exiled for murder nearly 2 years ago. Most Elites will never forgive - or at least say so - the three packs, but Terra and the others do believe one day it will change. Elites still have the same personallities to that of normal grey or dire wolves, however many beg to differ - even though it is true. Some regard them as demons or unnatural beasts, while others believe they are gifts given to them by their ancestors to help fight the sabres that threaten their boundaries.
Known Elites now live in the Elite Pack, situated in the Outlands, after their exile. Now they are needed the most back in the valley - and they will not come.
Such wolves are Blaze, Nutari and Terra.
Shadows [Spirits, Demons and Wolves]
Shadows are demonic spirits that posess selected wolves and turn them into murderous monsters. These are called Shadow Demons. Shadows demons are extremely powerful and not to be messed with, especially since they have the power to conjour up shadow wolves as their minions, soldiers, whatever they are needed for. Shadow wolves themselves vary in several different basic forms depending on their master. Such forms include Brute, Standard and Scout.
Anira Valley Wolves [Anirans]
Composing of mostly Grey and Dire Wolves, the Anira Valley wolves live in three seperate packs. ShadowFang - lead by the infamous Bloodscar, SilverMoon - now led by Greyspirit and GoldenDawn - who's current leader is unknown. Despite them being the ones agreeing to exile the Elites, some still believe there was wrong in doing so - however EVERYONE is quiet about their own thoughts when Bloodscar is around, and recently, he's been around a lot.
Such wolves are Bloodscar the murderer, Jetstorm and Leafback.

Tribal Elite Wolves
Tribal Elites are a speicific kind of Elite that have a single pack. Because of how they are brought up, they have lost the ability of powers generations ago but feel they do not need them. The process into which each wolf can be accepted is called "The Trial". A wolf - a Rookie - must enter a human camp and become accepted enough to receive a talisman such as a fox tooth or sabre claw. The better they prove themselves, the better their talisman is and the better their talisman is, the higher respect they get from both humans and the pack. Once receiving their talisman, they freely leave the human camp in search of The Tribe - the single pack of wolves once in a human camp. Tribal Elites are niether "good" nor "bad" wolves but many see them as enemies, traitors and unworthy to be called wolves due to their acceptance of human presence.

Sabretooth Tiger
Self-explanitory, along with another ancient threat, the Sabres are another problem the Anirans will have to deal with, without the protection of the Elites. Sabres are merciless hunters and live in clans. Anira Valley Wolves have little to no hope against a Sabre attack, where as the Elites can easily take care of them.

Ancient Elite Wolf [Ancients]
Ancient Elite wolves are the ancestors of the Elite wolf that exists today. They were faster, usually stronger and had additional, stronger and longer lasting powers to that of their predeccessors. They are believed to have died out long, long ago and also believed to be the ancients that watch over all wolves. Whether this is a myth or not, is uncertain.
